Job Description
We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a respected international automotive manufacturer seeking a Process Engineer to join their innovative Kansas City facility. Key Responsibilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes with a focus on injection molding of plastics.
- Troubleshoot and improve efficiency of automated systems and robotics on the production floor.
- Analyze and refine process flows to reduce cost waste and production time.
- Interface with engineering maintenance and quality teams to ensure robust production performance.
- Lead initiatives involving PLC programming robotics calibration and mold tooling improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in process engineering in a manufacturing setting.
- Deep expertise in injection molding of plastics.
- Solid understanding of automotive manufacturing standards.
- Familiarity with robotic systems and PLC programming (e.g. Allen Bradley Siemens).
