The opportunity
Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities employs over 1900 staff and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications including power generation transmission and distribution oil chemical and gas industrial manufacturing semiconductor and data centers as well as building and transportation sectors.

How youll make an impact
1. You will lead the creation and development of design specifications models and engineering artifacts such as technical provision order technical specification and test instruction.
2. You will conduct design reviews and verifications and implement necessary modifications and support R&D initiatives with our Global Technical Center.
3. You will ensure design milestones are met and projects are delivered on time and conduct risk assessments and perform FMEA to develop mitigation strategies.
4. You will identify opportunities for design improvements perform DtV activities and collaborate with marketing and product management to develop customer-centric solutions.
5. You will work closely with the supply chain team to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness. Evaluate and select materials and components.
6. You will foster a collaborative and innovative team environment. Assist in reviewing and understanding contract technical requirements related to design projects and support production and quality issues solution.
7. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background
1. You hold a bachelors degree or above major in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Required with 1-3 years design experience related to electrical products.
3. Power transmission and distribution transformers and components knowledge are preferred.
4. Skills in Creo is a must knowledge on Windchill and simulation tools such as Ansys ACE COMSOL are preferred.
5. Good communication with people teamwork spirit.
6. Fluent in English good at reading and written English. Good oral English level is preferred.
