Software Engineer
We are looking for a Software Engineerto join our development team that designs Xylems next generation controllers and the ecosystem around it.
With our pumps we focus on producing efficient water solutions that use less energy and provide environmental benefits to people and communities. Sustainability culture and diversity are close to our hearts and we believe that technology is an important link to how the world can solve the water issues.
Controllers are core components in pumping automation supporting and securing that our customers have a reliable process with high energy efficiency. Smart features from machine to cloud ensures economy over our products entire lifespan.
You will work in close cooperation with Product Owners and Test Engineers to develop technologies that will have a major impact on people and societies.
We use tools such as the Atlassian suite Jenkins Artifactory and agile methodology to create business value continuously. We ensure high quality availability and adaptability in our delivery.
Responsibilities
Our team consists of motivated and friendly people with diverse backgrounds and expert knowledge in machine learning electronics mechanics hardware and software development and more. You develop our innovative control features for our products and platforms. While doing this you will get the opportunity to visit customer sites and run our products in our lab to understand upcoming requirements.
Together with our electronics team you will assist with board bring-up Production test and EMC test software.
Qualifications
For this role we would like you to have:
Professional experience in advanced firmware programming for a few years.
Academic degree in Computer Science at a Bachelor level or equivalent knowledge.
Good communications skills both spoken and written in Swedish and English.
The languages we use is mainly Python and C but JavaScript may also be used since our front-end is built with Angular. Our day-to-day work is done in a Debian environment.
As a person you are team focused and passionate about solving problems. You are flexible open to new ideas and always looking for ways to improve.
You are technical but also a service minded and curious team player who loves to collaborate with others. You are energetic forward-thinking and you push for innovation.
You are good at communicating presenting and building relationships with teams and global stakeholders. You are self-motivated and have a strong driving force for quality but also driving change and transformation.
