Baylor University is seeking a Laboratory Technician (Psychology/Neuroscience) to support the mission and vision of the University within the Department of Psychology & Neuroscience. As a technician an expertise and technical skill set in the following are required: rodent addiction self-administration and seeking behavioral paradigms intracranial surgical procedures jugular catheter surgery perfusion and tissue collection perform histological and biological assays on tissues collected from experimental animals microscopy record and assist in data entry and analysis using specific computer software programs.
A Bachelors Degree and one year of relevant work experience is required. Two years of relevant work experienceis preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of one another.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
