Job Description
The Alternative Investment Hybrid Sales Northwest (External Wholesaler) will be responsible for the execution of all sales service and marketing related activities in their region. The products will include open-end and closed-end alternative investment funds and traditional mutual funds. The position will require coverage of the major wirehouse platforms and private banks. The Hybrid is responsible for directly managing major markets within their region with a client-centric sales driven approach to the marketplace. The Hybrids performance is measured by gross fund flows sales activity diversification of gross fund flows and sales activity expansion of financial advisor relationships and broader team contribution to the National sales effort. Compensation is performance-based consisting of salary and annual bonus.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy consistent with National sales goals with accountability for the overall performance of the region.
Maintain and cultivate existing financial advisor relationships and aggressively expand new financial advisor relationships across the relevant region.
Convey deep technical knowledge of the firms investment strategies and fund vehicles.
Work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Economics Finance or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience wholesaling with significant relationships in the wirehouse space with proven track record of successfully selling different types of alternative investment products including open end funds that largely target accredited investor clients as well as private funds that target qualified purchaser clients.
Proven track record of success.
Series 7 and 63
Additional credentials preferred (CFA CAIA).
Travel:
Significant travel required.
