Description
The Helpdesk and AV Coordinator reports to the Director of Technology Operations and supports the Technology Team (Director of Technology Operations and Director of Educational Technology) with the daily management and troubleshooting of school-wide hardware and software issues. Responsibilities include installing configuring and maintaining technology and AV systems as well as assisting with equipment upkeep and repairs.
This is a non-exempt on-site position - no hybrid or remote work. We anticipate up to 15-20 hours per week during peak times during the academic year. Schedule TBD.
The Helpdesk and AV Coordinator reports to the Director of Technology Operations and supports the Technology Team (Director of Technology Operations and Director of Educational Technology) with the daily management and troubleshooting of school-wide hardware and software issues. Responsibilities include installing configuring and maintaining technology and AV systems as well as assisting with equipment upkeep and Helpdesk and AV Coordinator reports to the Director of Technology Operations and supports the Technology Team (Director of Technology Operations and Director of Educational Technology) with the daily management and troubleshooting of school-wide hardware and software issues. Responsibilities include installing configuring and maintaining technology and AV systems as well as assisting with equipment upkeep and repairs.The hourly wage for this position ranges from $24 to $38 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Help the Tech Team perform routine setup configuration distribution maintenance refresh and repair of workstations laptops and mobile devices for students faculty and staff.
- Install configure and upgrade operating systems and software as needed.
- Maintain organized hardware and inventory documentation. Help complete annual inventory.
- Help maintain classroom technologies and access to their use such as projectors flat screen TVs and Neat bars printers and Wi-Fi access.
- Perform routine maintenance and help with repair of workstations laptops and mobile devices in coordination with the Tech Team.
- Configure and deploy end-user workstations laptops and mobile devices including the configuration and distribution of new student devices.
- Support set up and configure new and used computers and laptops to established standards.
- Maintain organized hardware and inventory documentation. Help complete annual inventory.
- Help manage Bransons fleet of loaner MacBooks and iPads.
- Help maintain classroom technologies such as projectors flat screen TVs and Neat bars printers.
- Install configure and upgrade operating systems and software as needed.
- Help set up and configure wireless access on end-user devices.
- Assist with the periodic refresh of student and teacher laptops.
- Provide Help Desk support coverage as needed.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs..
