Job Description

The Opportunity

As a Sales Assistant you will play a key role in supporting the Seven Sales team in Ballarat by delivering excellent client service and contributing to the success of our regional markets.

In this role you will work closely with the Sales Manager and the broader sales team. Based in Ballarat youll enjoy a dynamic environment where youll interact with key clients and stakeholders ensuring the smooth delivery of advertising campaigns and client relationships.

This position has the option of full-time or part-time hours.

You will be responsible for:

  • Processing and managing advertising bookings.
  • Assisting in the preparation of advertising proposals.
  • Accurately maintaining client and revenue records.
  • Developing and strengthening key client and business relationships.
  • Providing administrative support to the sales team.

About You

You are an organized detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to grow your career in media.

You will have:

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong data entry skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Word and Excel.
  • An aptitude for analyzing numbers and identifying insights.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • A positive work ethic and a strong team focus.
  • A genuine desire to progress into a sales role within the organization.
