Within the Cell Therapy Development and Operations (CTDO) division the Portfolio Strategy and Operations (PSO) team focuses on the cell therapy pipeline as well as shaping product strategy throughout the lifecycle of a cell therapy asset. The organization encompasses the project managers programs managers portfolio management professionals and technical writing all of whom contribute to defining strategies for both early-and late-stage pipeline cell therapies enabling global regulatory approval and launches.

The Senior Manager Portfolio Planning and Execution plays an important role in organizing managing and communicating CTDO goals and objectives as well as providing program and portfolio management skills to support Hoshin Kanri planning and CTDO portfolio.

The Senior Manager Portfolio Planning and Execution manages the Hoshin Kanri annual strategic planning and portfolio planning process. This role involves coordinating with various project managers ensuring alignment with strategic goals tracking and reporting of portfolio status and optimizing resource allocation to achieve successful project outcomes. Assignments include operational responsibilities for governance and teams. Lead and direct complex cross-functional multi-site teams and workstreams ensuring comprehensive planning and optimal execution of plans. Ensure interactions and timely collaboration with CTDO ecosystem functional and site Project Management Offices (PMOs) key stakeholders and supporting functions and sites. Proactively identify and facilitate risks mitigations resolution and escalation of issues tracking and communicating status to stakeholders including leadership team. Collaborating with Go-Team program managers for asset specific projects to ensure alignment with asset specific strategic priorities. Driving program/projects and teams with passion innovation speed and accountability.

The successful candidate will be a demonstrated leader with the breadth of professional experience and the drive to work with both internal and external partners to define and implement effective project management solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and portfolio management as well as and in-depth understanding of technical operations and technology transfers.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead planning and execution of an integrated portfolio consisting of complex plans and teams for technical operations programs & projects tech transfer governance and other critical initiatives as defined by CTD/O management. Programs/Projects may include but are not limited to those identified during the annual book of work (BOW) prioritization and refresh process strategic run-the-business initiatives transformation due diligence business continuity product launches major change management Quality & Compliance Operations Product Development Supply Chain and significant regulatory activities.

Competencies & Experiences

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $134000 - $167000

plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job such as required skills and the geographic location where work is performed.
