Job Description
Job Title: Technical Program Manager
Location: Tucson AZ
Job Description:
- Own end-to-end program execution for DBW systems across multiple machine platforms.
- Define program scope milestones and deliverables in collaboration with the stakeholders.
- Track progress manage risks and ensure timely delivery of technical solutions.
- Work closely with system engineers software developers and test engineers to align technical execution with program goals.
- Facilitate design reviews requirement traceability and integration planning.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety protocols.
- Coordinate machine testing activities at Proving Grounds.
- Manage test schedules logistics and reporting for on-machine validation.
- Support root cause analysis and resolution of field issues.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Provide regular updates on program status risks and mitigation plans.
- Prepare and present technical and programmatic reports to leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or Systems).
- 8 12 years of experience in technical program management or systems engineering.
- Proven experience managing complex embedded systems or control systems programs.
- Strong understanding of off-highway machinery DBW systems and safety-critical development.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA MS Project and requirements management platforms.
- Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with heavy equipment OEMs.
- Exposure to machine testing environments and field validation processes.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
