Coperion is now hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Whitewater WI!
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the operations team with electrical and mechanical maintenance of production equipment buildings and grounds.
Work Youll Do:
Provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in the facility.
Troubleshoot issues with malfunctioning production equipment
Coordinate vendor visits for preventative maintenance and other work not completed by the in-house maintenance team.
Use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to schedule and document tasks.
Manage small to medium-sized site improvement projects.
Communicate with various teams in the factory to complete tasks and projects.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Education or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge of CNC machining systems brake presses welders CO2 lasers electrical systems and other general production equipment.
Ability to prioritize tasks with support from the supervisor
Highly organized and detail focused
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with preventative maintenance concepts
Self-starting and able to work independently and also with a team
Familiarity with ISO9001 and lean manufacturing concepts.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CMMS software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer 2 years in a trade school specializing in equipment and facility maintenance.
