About The Opportunity:
The HR Advisor plays a key role in the People & Culture team delivering practical high-quality support across a broad range of HR functions. This role ensures HR policies and practices are compliant efficient and user-friendly while also managing accurate HR reporting and employee relations matters. As a trusted first point of contact for HR queries the HR Advisor partners with employees and leaders to provide timely advice support a positive employee experience and drive continuous improvement. The role also contributes to strategic initiatives across culture engagement and change.
- Review update and streamline HR policies and procedures to ensure legislative compliance clarity and usability.
- Monitor key HR metrics (e.g. turnover absenteeism diversity) to identify trends and provide insights for improvement.
- Support leaders with employee relations matters including performance management grievances and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate on and lead key HR projects including engagement culture and diversity & inclusion initiatives.
- Administer user access and data accuracy within HR platforms including Reward and Recognition systems.
- Act as a trusted first point of contact for HR queries providing clear timely advice to employees and managers.
- Deliver timely tailored HR reports to support decision-making and business needs.
- Support change management efforts through communication planning and stakeholder engagement.

About you:
Youll be a confident HR generalist with strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and a passion for improving people practices. To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Psychology or a related field
- 3 years of generalist HR experience across the employee lifecycle including HR systems recruitment reporting and L&D
- Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms and reporting tools
- Experience delivering HR projects such as policy updates process improvements or system rollouts
- A solid understanding of employment law; experience with the Banking Finance and Insurance Award 2020 is a bonus
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills with advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
- High ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive HR information
