Job Description

WHAT DOES A SENIOR MANAGER SOCIAL MEDIA DO

TheSenior ManagerSocial Mediawill lead strategic development and tactical initiatives for a portfolio of business serving as social media counsel to account staff and external clients. 

Internally the role workson team planning and growth internal education of all departments knowledge sharing and internal communications with the expectation to drive social media adoption making it a core competency of the this role is expected to serve as the primary subject matter expert and project owner for a portfolio of business collaborating with clients to help them stay aware of social media trends and technology while supporting their marketing objectives within the pharmaceutical industry. 

The Social Media team is a subject matter expert group that works closely with clients and internal teams to enhance the agency and clients core competencies in social media content creation and distributionandcustomer role also overseessocial media analytics and reporting to ensure business KPIs/goals are oversight is a must to ensure delivery is on time on budget and on target. TheSenior Manager Social Media has an intimate understanding of paid media and can communicate paid social planning recommendations to clients providing granular tactical information at the platform level and illustrating how that information fits into a broader digital ecosystem. 

This person also conducts social listening research delving deep into disease areas to unearth insights provide relevant observations and add data points. Social listening query oversight datapullsand optimization are key. Another area of focus is the development of influencer relationship management programs that deal with the identification analysis and curation of influencers within a particular patient population.


Qualifications :

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent education plus professional experience) required 

  • Approximately 5-8 years of related industry experience or consultative and agency experience; pharmaceutical experience a plus 

  • Applied experience in marketing and advertising with expertise in digital strategy media and technology 

  • Applied experience in social media and technology 

  • Knowledge of paid media and social listening  

  • Strong multitasker problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment 

  • Strong client relations and business development skills 

  • Strategic skill and strong business acumen 

  • Ability to delegate and provide direction to others on the team 

  • Excellent interpersonal presentation and writing skills 

  • Proven detail and organizational skills 

  • Proven ability to manage projects independently and collaboratively to successful completion 

  • Some travel required for client meetings new business pitches and for periodic agency collaborative meetings

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $76000 to $113000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S.  The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position.  Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience other job-related qualifications/skills and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).  EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
