Description
- Seeking an Azure Cloud Developer to lead the design implementation and automation of Azure infrastructure for a financial services client. This hands-on role involves architecting scalable infrastructure driving CI/CD pipeline efficiency and contributing to DevOps transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate has deep expertise with Azure services Terraform scripting and enterprise deployment practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support CI/CD pipelines across Azure environments.
- Use Terraform to provision configure and maintain Azure infrastructure.
- Execute deployment runbooks and adjust infrastructure as needed.
- Work with internal tools (e.g. Jet and Jewels) to manage deployments.
- Administer core Azure services: compute networking storage and identity.
- Support Azure messaging systems such as Event Grid Event Hubs and Service Bus.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployment readiness. Required Qualifications
- 8 10 years of experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and automation.
- Extensive experience with Terraform for building and managing complex infrastructure at scale.
- Proven track record in designing and managing enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines.
- Expert knowledge of Azure services including compute networking IAM and storage.
- Strong scripting experience in Python or other languages for automation.
- Ability to lead infrastructure initiatives mentor junior engineers and drive architectural decisions.
- Experience with internal DevOps platforms such as Jet and Jewels or similar systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading infrastructure modernization or DevOps transformation projects.
- Hands-on experience with GitOps workflows infrastructure testing and policy-as-code.
- Expertise in implementing security governance and compliance in Azure environments.
- Certifications such as AZ-400 AZ-305 or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
