This position offers a dynamic fast-paced environment focused on enhancing JLLs communication strategy. Youll ensure consistent messaging across both external and internal channels throughout Australia and APAC balancing global frameworks with local context while utilising our Centers of Excellence resources.

Australia Communications responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing strategic communication plans that strengthen JLLs reputation in Australia

  • External Communications: Oversee the creation and distribution of impactful PR initiatives and thought leadership content. Lead a team that drives media relations manages the press office and cultivates relationships with key journalists and industry influencers

  • Internal Communications: Develop and implement effective internal communication strategies to engage employees facilitate knowledge sharing and foster a sense of community across various teams and locations. Ensure messages are clear consistent and aligned with JLLs goals

  • Crisis Communication: Proactively manage potential crisis situations by devising effective communication strategies protocols and timely responses to protect JLLs reputation

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with external stakeholders including industry associations government bodies and community organisations

APAC Country Communications responsibilities:

  • Ensure alignment across APAC regional communications teams convening country communications leaders and serving as line manager for multiple country communications leads throughout key APAC markets

  • Work with country communications leads and in collaboration with the global business line and COE teams to develop and execute aligned communication strategies that engage and inform colleagues and stakeholders

  • Internal Communications: Ensure consistency of communications across countries leveraging global COE resources and always working to ensure the right balance between global framing and local relevance. Support country leads engagement with key stakeholders to map out communication objectives target audiences and appropriate channels to ensure effective and consistent messaging

  • External Communications: Partner with country leads and the APAC external communications lead to ensure consistency of PR initiatives and thought leadership content

  • Measurement and Feedback: Contribute to effective measurement of communications initiatives and campaigns. Gather input and insights from employees and adjust communication strategies accordingly
