Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital in South Boston Virginia is actively recruiting a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist to join our expanding patient-centered cancer care team. We are proud to serve a community with deep historical ties to modern medicine the legacy of Henrietta Lacks whose immortal cells transformed cancer research began just miles from here. Position Highlights:
Employed by Sentara Medical Group a division of Sentara Health a nationally recognized not-for-profit healthcare system.
Collaborate with a well-established team of 2 experienced physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
On-site 10-bed Infusion Center and a fully integrated nurse navigator.
MondayFriday schedule (8am-5pm) with no inpatient call.
Palliative Care program launching Spring 2025.
Practice located on the hospital campus with a new state-of-the-art hospital opening Summer 2027!
Benefits Highlights:
Annual Base Salary: $540000 Productivity Bonus
Quality Incentive Bonus up to $20000/year
