Coverage Type: Clinical call

Shift Schedule: Weekdays; Starts at 7a

Call Schedule: Weeknights; TBD & 24-hr call; 7a-7a

Call Type: Beeper

Call Response Time: 10 mins

Call Coverage: ED or OB/L&D

Call Volume: Ave. of 8 per day; 55 per week

Patient Volume: 4

Annual Deliveries: Ave. of 370

Admissions Required: Yes

Rounding Included: Yes

Support Staff: 6-8 RNs

Beds in Dept: 15

Trauma Level: II

EMR: Cerner

Resident/Teaching Supervision Required: Yes

- FM residents & 3/4th yr medical students.

Other Info:

- Require completion of a Conscious sedation module if the candidate requests privileges of admin of conscious sedation; Available at facility for free.

- Hospital is primary stroke certified (not comprehensive stroke ctr)

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

Active MI License

BC/BE

ABLC ACLS ATLS BLS PALS (any; preferred)
