The Property Accountant is responsible for the following:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports
- Track and analyze property-level financial performance.
- Ensures the integrity of financial information through comprehensive analysis account reconciliations and strict adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Plays a key role in supporting operational decision-making and ensuring compliance across the portfolio.
- High level of proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems; property management software experience (e.g. Yardi Entrata MRI) strongly preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables VLOOKUP and data modeling
- Must have at least 3 years of previous experience in a similar role.
