Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated P&C Technical Manager to establish and lead a data warehouse project. This is a newly created on-site role based in the Jersey City NJ office. The ideal candidate will be a critical liaison between our business and technology teams responsible for ensuring that all technical projects from conception to implementation are aligned with our strategic goals industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
This role requires a unique blend of end-to-end project management expertise a deep understanding of the P&C insurance domain and strong technical acumen. The P&C Technical Manager will be instrumental in defining and upholding the standards that will drive our future success.
Key Responsibilities
- Project & Governance Leadership:
- Provide end-to-end governance and oversight for the full project lifecycle from ideation and requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation review.
- Ensure all project deliverables technical designs and solution architectures adhere to company standards and regulatory compliance.
- Technical & Domain Expertise:
- Serve as a subject matter expert with minimum of 12 years of experience on core P&C insurance systems data models and data flows.
- Possess a strong technical understanding of our technology stack including Snowflake Azure cloud platform Astronomer.
- Leverage deep P&C domain knowledge to translate business needs into clear actionable technical requirements and solutions.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders delivery leads and technical teams.
- Facilitate key governance meetings communicating project status risks and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Promote a culture of transparency accountability and continuous improvement across all technical initiatives.
- Risk & Compliance Management:
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical and operational risks within projects.
- Ensure all P&C systems and processes comply with relevant industry standards and data privacy regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to governance policies.
