Details:

Pay: $25-$35hr
Location: Texas City TX
Schedule: 40hrs/week
Duration: long term
Our client has an immediate opening for a Project Coordinator at its Refinery. This role will offer Administrative Technical Support for Major Projects reports to Major Projects Program Manager. Coordinates Major Project Office seating charts vehicles supplies and maintenance. In addition serving building monitor for emergencies serving as backup for document control functions.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Major Project Office Building
  • Creating and Tracking Deliverables list for Growth projects per Marathon Project Management Process
  • Posting all project documents onto Project TeamView Site (SharePoint)
  • Managing the resource spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
  • Preparing presentation slides as needed in PowerPoint
  • Preparing monthly reports in Microsoft Word
  • Take project related meeting minutes
  • Produce high quality documents and presentations
  • Pull together daily progress reports and compiled them for analysis
  • Liaison between project engineering construction and project services to gather information for weekly and monthly project meetings.
  • Assist in development of management presentations
  • Perform document management activities for the team.
  • Access technical software and generated reports.
  • Manage various electronic filing systems in SharePoint and TeamView.
  • Assist with correspondence and maintained associated correspondence logs
  • Coordinate compilation of regular reports
  • Support personnel movements including new starts and transfer in and out of the EPCs offices.
  • Coordination of badging for visitors and new employees.
  • Coordinate with IT to organize all computer phone and projector connections.
  • Create and maintain up to date contact lists.
  • Maintain calendars and training schedules.
  • Organize and coordinate functions such as conference luncheons and meetings.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. (Education must be obtained/completed prior to start date)
  • Minimum 2 years of clerical/administrative support experience is required.
  • At least 3 plus years of relevant work experience is preferred.
  • Completion of a 2-year Associates is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) is required.
