Job Description
RN-Vascular Operating Room Contract Role
- Location: Rochester New York 14621
- Duration: 13-weeks Contract
- Shift: 12-hr. Days 7:00am-7:30pm
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2520 - $2664
Responsibilities:
- Assist with and circulate in open vascular and hybrid/endovascular OR procedures
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field in compliance with surgical protocols
- Monitor patient status and vital signs during procedures
- Collaborate with vascular surgeons radiologists and surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care
- Administer medications and manage surgical instruments and supplies
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
- Provide compassionate high-quality care aligned with evidence-based practice
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience required.
- Vascular and Endovascular experience as described above Required
- Prior experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
- Must have Vascular experience
Licensure & Certification:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License-New York State
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)-AHA
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Does not accept local RN candidates within 75 miles.
