Job Description: Cardiac Care Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and monitoring to provide high-quality care to cardiac patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in accordance with the physicians orders.
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to prioritize and improve patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document medical records accurately.
- Provide patient education on cardiac health lifestyle modifications and follow-up care.
- Assist with procedural preparations and provide support during diagnostic tests.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities and keep updated with the latest practices in cardiac care.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years and maximum of 5 years of clinical experience in a relevant nursing role preferably in cardiac care or a similar setting.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Proficient in patient education and communication of complex medical information.
