Our Client

Located in the heart of Tarime our client s Hotel is a top-ranked hospitality destination offering refined comfort and warm service. The hotel features a swimming pool sauna gym garden restaurant and bar indoor restaurant and 30 well-appointed guest rooms in Deluxe Super Deluxe Twin Beds Family Suite and Executive Suite categories.

Overview of the Position

We are looking for a motivated and organized Procurement Officer to support the purchasing and inventory processes at our client s Hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior professional to grow within a leading hotel environment. The successful candidate will assist in sourcing supplies maintaining inventory records and ensuring smooth coordination with suppliers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in sourcing and obtaining quotations from suppliers.
    Process purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory checks.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Support various hotel departments with day-to-day procurement needs.
  • Maintain proper filing and records of purchases and invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and hotel standards.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Procurement Logistics Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • 1-2 years of work experience in a procurement or administrative support role; hospitality experience is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of procurement processes and inventory systems.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and document management tools.
  • Willingness to relocate to Tarime Tanzania.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
