Job Description
Work Environment: Professional Office Setting Business Casual Attire
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact constituents or complainants to gather and discuss details of filed complaints.
- Review and interpret relevant Florida statutes to assess and analyze each complaint.
- Clearly communicate findings and outcomes to the public demonstrating strong customer service at all times.
- Inform complainants if a case falls outside the Divisions jurisdiction and explain reasons for case closure.
- Provide appropriate referrals or resources when applicable.
- Draft formal written responses for supervisor approval and send final correspondence to complainants.
- Accurately close cases by entering relevant codes activities and statute references into the Versa system.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all actions taken using the OnBase system.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret Florida statutes accurately.
- Prior experience interacting with the public in a professional setting.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Reliable and committed to meeting project deadlines.
