Overview of the Position
We are looking for a motivated and organized Procurement Officer to support the purchasing and inventory processes at our client s Hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior professional to grow within a leading hotel environment. The successful candidate will assist in sourcing supplies maintaining inventory records and ensuring smooth coordination with suppliers and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing and obtaining quotations from suppliers.
Process purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory checks.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Support various hotel departments with day-to-day procurement needs.
- Maintain proper filing and records of purchases and invoices.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and hotel standards.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Procurement Logistics Supply Chain Management or related field.
1-2 years of work experience in a procurement or administrative support role; hospitality experience is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of procurement processes and inventory systems.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and document management tools.
Willingness to relocate to Tarime Tanzania.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
