What you will do:
As a Production Painter at Sanfords Boone Trail location you will perform a variety of functions associated with the powder coating application and production process within an established cycle time. This may include loading and unloading materials moving parts and equipment painting and coating parts cleaning and maintaining parts and equipment and providing routine assistance and support.
What you have:
Previous experience and/or working knowledge of typical paint tech roles (masking shot blast pre-treatment etc.).
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Top candidates will also have:
Paint certification or equivalent experience in equipment paint processing
Experience in top coat prime coat and electrostatic paint
Ability to read blueprints / engineering drawings
Excellent verbal communications skills
Strong commitment to Safety and Teamwork
Demonstrates decision-making ability
Ability to read/understand MSDS sheets

1st Shift: Mon-Fri 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
1st Shift Starting Pay: $20.20/hour
**Role requires overtime as needed to support business needs**

Summary Pay Range:
$20.20 - $25.25Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
