Job summary
The Hard Rock Bar Manager is responsible for Hard Rock Bars operations of day to day as well as events and maximizing bar revenue opportunities. In addition the Bar Manager will serve as the Manager on Duty at the bars. The Bar Manager will also play a role in maintaining the relationships and accounts of established VIP clients.
Responsibilities:
60% Management of staff & operation
  • Partners with General Manager on all operational business strategies including staffing revenue manager staffing levels sales and marketing.
  • Primary manager and key decision maker for designated shifts
  • Strategically lead mentor and develop the staff
  • Enforce policies and procedures of Evolution Hospitality and HRB
  • Coach and counsel staff and create and deliver counseling notices as needed
  • Prepare for and conduct nightly draft/pre-shift meetings with VIP staff in order to review all lists table reservations or last minute updates
  • Overall responsibility for all customer service needs and conflict resolution
  • Managing /overseeing the conduct of staff needs and conflict resolution
  • Provides senior leadership to direct and support supervisory positions within the department onsite manager for designated shifts.
  • Set the example at all times.
  • Lead mentor and evaluate the staff.
  • Supervise the Staff in day to day on floor operations.
30% Administrative
  • End of night reports
  • Compose and respond to emails on a daily basis and as needed
  • Responsible for all assigned functions reports timelines schedules and tasks
  • Conducts month end beverage inventories and assist with liquor controls
  • Responsible for daily weekly and monthly supply ordering
10% Sales & Client Relations
  • Market high-end bottle service to customers and book reservations
  • Maintain client data base and relationships with table customers
  • Input of all personal reservations into the reservation tracking system
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Minimum two years experience in nightclub/bar operations management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Inherent ability to coach and lead others
  • A passion for guest service and night club operations
  • Beverage financial acumen
  • Command of the English language both written and verbal.
  • Previous Hotel Experience preferred
    • Experience dealing with high revenue generating clients and accounts.
Other Requirements and Characteristics:
  • The work requires some physical exertion with long periods of sitting standing and walking; limited bending crouching stooping stretching reaching or similar activities; occasional lifting/moving of items up to 25 pounds.
