Job Summary
Are you a newly qualified teacher of Design & Technology ready to begin your career in a supportive and successful school A forward-thinking secondary school in Christchurch is seeking a DT ECT to join its team from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent position offering excellent support and training as you take your first steps in teaching.
The Role
Full-time Design & Technology Teacher (ECT) role starting January 2026
Teach DT across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to develop into KS5 teaching as experience grows
Specialisms in Product Design Resistant Materials or Graphics welcomed
Benefit from a structured ECT induction programme including mentoring and regular CPD sessions
Contribute to the departments extra-curricular provision such as design clubs competitions and practical workshops

What Were Looking For
A DT ECT with QTS/PGCE or pending qualification (specialism in Product Design Resistant Materials or related field)
