Job Description

Job Title :

Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) Administrator

Roles & Responsibilities :

Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) Management

  • Deploy configure and maintain Microsoft Teams Rooms across meeting spaces globally.

  • Monitor the health status and performance of MTR devices using Microsoft Teams Admin Centre tan and Pro Management tools.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues on MTR devices.

  • Coordinate with AV vendors and OEMs for hardware support and escalations.

  • Manage firmware updates and policies for MTR devices via Intune and M365 Admin Center.

  • Ensure MTR devices are compliant with security and organizational standards.

Microsoft Intune & M365 Administration

  • Manage configurations and compliance policies using Intune for MTR and associated devices.

  • Collaborate on device lifecycle management inventory tracking and reporting.

  • Support Teams devices (phones panels displays) and collaboration peripherals.

Microsoft Teams Voice & Telephony

  • Administer Microsoft Teams Phone System including direct routing and call queues.

  • Work with Service providers or operators for voice integrations and number management.

  • Manage voice policies dial plans and troubleshoot call quality/performance issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 6 years in IT infrastructure or digital workplace roles.

  • 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms administration.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Microsoft Teams and Teams Voice/Phone System.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Intune for device compliance and configuration.

  • Hands-on experience with Teams Admin Center MTR Pro Management and Teams Room licenses.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in AV conferencing hardware/software issues.

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Active Directory Azure AD and conditional access policies.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Proactive self-driven and able to work independently or within a team.
