About the Internship

The FALI ( Future Accounting Leaders Internship) is a learning-focused program designed to give recent graduates with a passion for accounting real-time hands-on experience in the field. This is not just an internship. its a structured capacity-building process that equips participants with the skills mindset and exposure needed to thrive in real business environments.

Interns are not just observers; they are expected to learn actively ask questions support real client accounts and grow through feedback. The goal is to build strong foundations in accounting financial systems and professional work habits.

Requirements

Eligibility & Requirements

We welcome applications from recent graduates who meet the following criteria:

Core Requirements

• Completed NYSC with no more than 1 year of post-NYSC experience
  

• University degree in Accounting with a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1)
  
  (Other degrees may be considered only if the applicant has started or completed a professional accounting qualification like ICAN this signals genuine interest in the field)
  

• Second Class Lower (2:2) graduates may be considered but must show either:
  

  • Progress in a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ICAN ACCA) or
    

  • Relevant work or internship experience in accounting or finance
    

Preferred but not required

• Active progress in ICAN ACCA or similar programs
  

• Basic familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets
  

• Curiosity about how accounting supports business operations and decision-making
