About the Role
Naijatutors Konnect is seeking a dedicated and people-oriented Human Resource Officer to help drive our growing team s success. As the HR Officer you will play a central role in recruitment onboarding performance monitoring and team
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including drafting job descriptions posting vacancies screening applications conducting interviews and issuing offer letters.
Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure roles are filled promptly with qualified candidates.
Manage onboarding processes for new hires including orientation sessions documentation collection system access setup and integration into team culture.
Maintain a seamless candidate and new-hire experience to uphold the company s brand and culture.
2. Employee Records & Documentation
Maintain accurate confidential and up-to-date employee records including personal information contracts performance history and disciplinary actions.
Ensure all HR documentation is organized digitized and compliant with data protection regulations.
Update internal HR databases and systems to reflect staff changes promotions or exits.
3. Performance Management & Employee Development
Support quarterly and annual performance appraisal processes by coordinating timelines collecting feedback and preparing reports for management.
Monitor performance improvement plans (PIPs) ensure clarity on expectations and support managers in tracking progress.
Recommend and coordinate relevant training sessions professional development programs and learning opportunities for staff.
Promote a culture of feedback and continuous growth.
4. Policy Implementation & Compliance
Assist in the development review and enforcement of company HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with company standards remote work protocols and employment laws relevant to the organization s operations.
Support the investigation and resolution of employee relations issues grievances and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain and promote ethical conduct and fair practices across the organization.
5. Employee Engagement & Culture Building
Foster a positive and inclusive work culture by implementing virtual engagement activities and wellness check-ins.
Encourage open communication recognition programs and staff appreciation efforts.
Address employee concerns provide support and mediate when necessary to sustain a healthy team environment.
6. HR Technology & Reporting
Utilize digital HR tools and platforms to automate and streamline HR operations (e.g. Zoho People Airtable Google Workspace).
Generate and analyse HR reports including attrition rates onboarding success performance trends and employee satisfaction.
Present insights and recommendations to leadership for better decision-making.
7. Cross-Team Collaboration
Liaise with operations admin learning and support teams to ensure human resource functions align with overall business objectives.
Participate in team meetings strategy discussions and provide HR input on growth and process improvement initiatives.
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management Psychology Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in an HR or people management role preferably in a remote or EdTech environment.
Skills & Competencies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Highly organized with attention to detail and time-sensitive tasks.
Proficiency with HR or CRM tools (e.g. Zoho People Zoho Recruit Google Workspace).
A proactive and empathetic problem-solver.

Education
Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years experience in an HR or people management role, preferably in a remote or EdTech environment.
