Responsibilities
Supports the team with completing tasks in resourceful and effective ways

Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments
Documentation & System Updates
Uses system tools to maintain accurate records and handles standard queries that arise
Enters all goods received in the stock inventory system updates the database and correlate the items received to ensure order requirements are fulfilled
Carries out periodic stock checks to ensure accuracy and makes adjustments recommendations on new procedures and assignments for better solutioning
Shipping & Receiving
Receives goods delivered to the company either directly or following acceptance by security
Completes daily warehouse duties satisfying internal customers requirements and ensuring the accuracy of shipments
Ensures items are dispatched and coordinates speedy and efficient delivery of goods to the required destination; obtains sign-off for receipt
Uses Shipment spotlight and shipment dashboard for customers inbound/outbound shipments.
Understands how to receipt goods using system tools
Ensures safety data sheets are available for all hazardous material stored in the warehouse
Problem Solving
Partners closely with suppliers Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and internal customers on stock and projected delivery times for special orders
Understands how to interrogate various systems to resolve problems
Inventory Management
Allocations of stock inventory to internal customers scheduling materials to be moved to and from Data Centers; coordinates specialized inventory transfers with related departments
Maintains and monitors minimum/maximum stock for Projects & Operations teams
Conducts monthly physical counts reconciling variances inputting data into an Warehouse Management System (WMS) software and Equinix database
Picks and correlates items ordered and stores them in the relevant Data Center bins for the customers for specialized orders
Inform recipients of any shortfalls in quantities and backorder times
Monitors and updates the asset register for all logistics equipment in the Data Centers
Hazardous Materials
Handles hazardous materials independently and advises others on best practices
Ensures proper storage of hazardous materials and monitors on-site storage for compliance and makes recommendations for solutions
Follows and complies with hazardous materials protocols as described by regional regulatory bodies
Equipment
Organizes stored and/or abandoned equipment and maintains inventory of equipment
Uses the aging shipment business processes/tools for shipments over 5 days 14 days 30 days and 90 days
Liaises with the Customer Service Associate (CSA) team on these issues and determines solutions
Leads tracking of in use and or highly available software licenses
Guides usage of software lifecycle for software license management
Uses history data and systems to renew or solve unique renewal issues for software licensing
Data Center Support
Leads delivering and removal of customers equipment from cages
When requested by a Smart Hand (SH) request packs customers equipment with packing material so that it can be shipped from the Data Center
Tracks all inbound and outbound shipments for internal/external customers
Supports the projects managers and operations teams with the acquisition of non-stocked products
Ensures logistics team follows best practice within Data Centers
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications
Typically requires a high school diploma and 4-6 years of equivalent work experience
Regional hazardous materials certification preferred
The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
California (Non-SF/Bay Area) Connecticut Maryland New York New Jersey Washington state: $58000 to $88000 per year
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role level and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education and/or training.
