Help Deliver the Future of Agtech Education!

  • Temporary Full Time until 30 June 2028*
  • Location: Orange preferred however all Regional NSW locations considered
  • Salary from $110266 - $122058 pa. superannuation (Clerk Grade 7/8)
  • This opportunity is open to DPIRD/LLS staff only

* To be considered for a temporary appointment until 30 June 2028 applicants must be on a Clerk Grade 7/8 talent pool or higher OR have been comparatively assessed at Clerk Grade 7/8 or higher. Comparative assessment means you were appointed through an externally advertised role.

If you do not meet the requirements for an ongoing appointment you may be considered for a temporary appointment for a period of up to 12 months.

What Youll Be Doing:

Be part of the Farms of the Future (FotF) initiative by the NSW Government which aims to increase the adoption of Agricultural Technologies (Agtech). This state-wide program fosters collaboration across government industry and communities and it aims to boost productivity market competitiveness and improve resource management through innovative tech.

As the Project Officer Education youll play a key role in developing and delivering innovative education initiatives that grow capability enhance engagement and raise awareness of the program across regional NSW. Youll work collaboratively with internal teams stakeholders and government partners to bring ideas to life through smart practical project support.

Your day could include:

  • Creating and improving engaging educational content to build learner capabilities and promote program brand awareness
  • Supporting project planning and delivery including coordination documentation monitoring and evaluation
  • Preparing reports and briefings to support program decisions and ensure transparency
  • Undertaking research and evaluation to identify educational opportunities and make evidence-based recommendations
  • Supporting working groups and stakeholder consultations to ensure consistent messaging and collaboration
  • Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Were looking for someone who can bring:

  • A passion for education and innovation especially in regional and primary industries settings
  • Experience in project coordination or program support
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A knack for juggling priorities meeting deadlines and staying calm under pressure
  • Experience developing educational resources and Agtech related content is a bonus!
