Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Hillingdon to assist with the appointment of a Property Information Officer on a 3-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 229.00 - 301.45 per day

Summary:

The Property Information Officer will be responsible for managing maintaining and improving the Councils property data systems and asset registers. The role involves ensuring that property information is accurately captured stored securely and reported in line with legal and organisational requirements. The postholder will act as a key contact for property data enquiries and provide advice guidance and training to colleagues on best practices for managing property information.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Councils Property Information Officer and main contact for property data.
  • Maintain and develop the Councils property data systems and asset registers.
  • Ensure all property data is accurately captured stored and disposed of in accordance with retention schedules and legal requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on data capture storage and use of the property information system.
  • Maintain a good understanding of Council functions to provide relevant advice on property information management.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain processes clearly.
  • Strong customer focus aligned with the Councils Putting Our Residents First vision.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive and improvement-focused mindset.
