Job Description
Position Department: Dining Services Lead Catering Operations
Type of Position: Part-time Regular Non-Exempt
Work Schedule Hours per week: Varies depending on department needs 25 hours per week
Pay Range:$15.95-$20.31 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.
Benefits Category: Part-time Benefits
Position Summary: Perform all facets of catering service and lead catering team members to ensure proper execution of events.
Required Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of related experience.
- Required Certifications: Serve Safe - Alcohol and Serve Safe -Food Handling.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Act as lead for event set-up and food presentation preparation and display.
- Train and guide team members on job duties proper food safety and sanitation and customer service.
- Order inventory and maintain all products needed to complete catering orders.
- Maintain all equipment and catering display supplies and report any needed repairs or replacements to leadership.
- Ensure quality products are ordered in the quantities stipulated and are properly labeled and include a list of major ingredients or allergens.
- Monitor storage production delivery and service to ensure compliance with all health codes and regulations.
- Maintain clean and sanitary working conditions and ensure the daily cleaning schedule is executed.
- Load and unload event equipment into catering vehicles and follow all safety procedures.
- Ensure customers receive friendly courteous service at all times.
