- Open to Dubbo location and other locations bordering with Western LLS
- Flexible work arrangements offered
- Annual salary from $110266pa super and leave loading
About the role
This role will be the coordinator for Emergency Management Risk and Work Health and Safety (WHS) for the Western region of LLS. You will be responsible for Coordinating the development and promotion of a consistent whole of region risk management culture including Emergency Management and Work Health and Safety and the ongoing development of planning prevention response and recovery activities to manage emergencies impacting landholders and primary producers within the Western region.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Coordinate the Emergency Management function participate in regional and local management committees ensure staff are trained and able to respond to emergencies both natural disasters and biosecurity responses.
- Coordinate the WHS function participate inregional and local committeesensuring that WHS risks and incidents are managed in accordance with legislation.
- Coordinate the Risk functiondevelop and evaluate regional risk management plans in line with the LLS Risk Management Framework and policy including the implementation of safety initiatives and programs in conjunction with workplace managers to assist LLS in meeting its legislative responsibilities.
- Monitor and evaluate regular audit programs across the region to ensure that regional risk obligations are met and are consistent with the risk management framework of LLS.
- Communicate to Western LLS on all these areas.

- You will have strong communication and coordination skills to work with regional and local management committees.
- You will be an analytical thinker able to identify and manage WHS risks.
- You will have exceptional interpersonal skills to help promote a safety culture within our region.
- Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
Essential Requirements:
- Current NSW Class C Driver Licence and willingness and ability to travel to assist with Emergency Responses across the state for up to two weeks at a time.
