Job Description
Schedule: Day shift nights and weekends as needed
Pay Rate:$35.00/hr to $40.00/hr DOE
Location:North Phoenix AZ (West of I-17)
Position Type: Temporary. Duration:2-3 months

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performing safety management audit and inspection for customer sites to ensure the compliance with government customers and all EHS policy processes and procedures
- Attending regular customer meetings and delivering information between customers
- Participating in the incident investigation to find the root cause and corrective actions
- Discussing findings and propose corrective measures with the supervisors and management and check whether these are indeed followed.
- Executing strategy to assure effective EHS programs to improve employee working safety and reduce workplace risks
- Communicating with employees customers and vendors for EHS related issues
- Promoting safety awareness activity
- Preparing and reporting the data on EHS performance
- Excellent communications skills
- Able to provide EHS training and presentation
- 3 years experience working in a safety role FSE or Equipment Technician
- Manufacturing/Lab/Plant/Cleanroom safety experience(working in a manufacturing cleanroom)
- OSHA Safety Certifications / Safety Classes / COHE/LOTO
- Experience creating safety reports and presenting
- Fab/manufacturing plant - walking around the facility in a pressure controlled environment
- Working with or experience handling hazardous materials
May be required to walk up to 5miles per day able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time ability tobend twist push/pull crouch kneel in confined spaces work at heights on a ladder and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Preferences:
- Minimum of Associates degree in electronics engineering or other related field of study preferred or Military Equivalent
