Job Description
HVAC Trainee
OTTOs opportunity:
We are looking for a high-energy and customer service-oriented HVAC Trainee to maintain the physical building structures as required.
Specifically the HVAC Trainee will:
- Will learn how to install service repair and maintain environmental control systems in commercial buildings
- Assist in the diagnosis of malfunctions of HVAC equipment and systems and/or components for the purpose of identifying repair and replacement needs
- Install maintain and repair refrigeration units
- Repair and maintain physical structures of commercial and industrial establishments such as factories office buildings and apartment houses using hand tools and power tools
- Assist with various minor construction projects such as repairing woodwork electrical cement and plumbing fixtures
- Provide support as needed with painting and patching drywall
- Assist with other related duties as required or assigned
What youll need to bring to the table:
- Must have valid drivers license
- Required to work outside of the normal office hours
- Good organizational skills
- Able to lift equipment up to 50 lbs. with assistance as necessary
- Performing detailed work above the head and work in a standing position
- Must be able to work in a quick paced environment
- Good follow-up skills
What OTTO offers for this specific position:
The hiring range listed in this posting is what we in good faith anticipate relying on when confirming an hourly rate for this position; exceptions may be considered for highly experienced candidates with multiple years of at-level experience.
- Target hourly hiring range: $15.25 to $18.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
- Profit Sharing Bonus - OTTO believes that its fair to share the profits that the employees help to make; profit sharing is distributed to employees twice a year. OTTOs profit sharing plan is paid at the discretion of the company and is not a guaranteed bonus or any part of a compensation plan.
- Vacation: five days after 30 days of employment and 80 hours at 1 year - vacation time is earned on the anniversary date.
