Job Description
Vander Hyde Mechanical a family-owned business located on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids is seeking an experienced motivated Commercial HVAC Foreman!
Vander Hyde Mechanical is a growing leader in the residential and commercial Heating Cooling Plumbing and Electrical trades and has proudly been in business for over 35 years! Integrity technical expertise and high-quality service are the guiding principles of the Vander Hyde team.
The Commercial HVAC Foreman has an advanced knowledge of installing or replacing HVAC systems correctly. Work involves troubleshooting installing and replacing HVAC systems and equipment on commercial job sites.
Skills Knowledge and Abilities required:
- Strong Problem Solving and Critical Thinking Skills
- Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
- Knowledge and understanding of refrigeration cycles
- Ability to lead and work on a team
- Must be able to perform work duties satisfactorily.
- Knowledge and ability to meet local HVAC codes
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to push pull carry or maneuver heavier items and work from heights or small spaces.
- Ability to pass background check.
- Type II EPA Certification or EPA Universal
- Drivers License and Insurable driving record
- 3 or more years experience
- Possess basic hand tools
