Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS)
FT 8AM-6:30PM
*Up to $2500 Sign On Bonus Available*
Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) is a free service that provides immediate help for youth aged 20 and under who are experiencing overwhelming mental emotional or behavioral distress ortrauma that is impacting their ability to function within their family school or community.
With MRSS a team of trained professionals will respond within 60 minutes of being called to a young persons home school or any other location in the community. The MRSS team helps calm the situation by offering immediate de-escalation ensuring everyone is safe and creating a plan for comprehensive wraparound care with up to 42 days of ongoing support.
No issue is too large or too small. If it feels like a crisis to the youth or their family MRSS is available to help.
MHS is currently hiring a Case Manager QMHS for a MRSS team. This position is a full-time 40-hour per week position. Hours are 8AM-6:30PM.
Qualified candidates will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of related experience -OR-
- Associate Degree in a social services field -OR-
- Bachelors Degree (preferred) in a social services field
- LCDC preferred but not required
- Experience with a mental health/behavioral health population or prior case management required
- You MUST have a valid Ohio drivers license with an insurable clean driving Managers utilize their own vehicles for transportation of clients and must provide proof of insurance at Ohio minimum standards. You receive mileage and an insurance allowance yearly.
MHS provides CPR/First Aid and NVCI (CPI Blue) for all new staff along with on-going education and on-the-job training opportunities.
All MHS candidates are required to have an Ohio BCI check (FBI check required if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years or for working with children) 5-panel drug screen and residential candidates must have a 2 step TB (or proof of prior TB) upon conditional offer of employment.
