About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Emergency Services to oversee ER operations. This includes managing a dedicated clinical team ensuring high-quality patient outcomes maintaining accreditation standards and managing budgets and productivity benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor emergency department staff
Develop implement and enforce ER policies and procedures
Maintain budgetary and productivity accountability
Drive quality improvement and throughput initiatives
Facilitate collaboration with pre-hospital providers and system stakeholders
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
What Youll Need to Succeed:
Required: Current or eligible New Mexico RN license
Required: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Preferred: MSN MBA or degree in Healthcare Administration
Experience: Minimum 7 years in healthcare with at least 3 years in a leadership role; for-profit hospital experience strongly preferred
Proven success building and leading teams with a focus on quality and performance
Strong clinical knowledge leadership and interpersonal skills
Certifications:
BLS ACLS and PALS required
TNCC to be obtained upon hire if not already acquired
