Senior Manager AI Product Owner is responsible for defining and driving the vision strategy and execution of AI-driven products. This role requires a blend of technical expertise strategic thinking and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and ensure the successful delivery of AI products that meet business objectives and customer needs.
Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate the vision and strategy for AI products in alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Establish personas and conduct in-depth analysis of their goals and needs.
Product Roadmap: Develop and continuously refine the product roadmap to reflect changing business priorities. Translate business goals and user needs into product features and requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with digital stakeholders technical teams and persona groups to ensure alignment and effective communication. Lead a matrixed team of developers data engineers and UX/UI designers.
User Experience: Maintain a relentless focus on the user experience. Lead conversations with UX designers to build intuitive actionable visualizations for complex data and insights. Test prototypes with user groups to ensure suitability.
Agile Development: Lead the team through Agile product development cycles including sprint planning backlog grooming and daily stand-ups. Ensure that development teams have a clear understanding of product requirements and priorities.
Product Lifecycle: Support all aspects of the products agile lifecycle including maintaining appropriate documentation continuous user support code analysis/reviews testing and system validation activities.
Product Adoption: Advocate for product adoption by formulating mechanisms to measure user adoption and business value delivered. Monitor these metrics and use learnings to adjust the product roadmap design and development as required.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts data literacy and proficiency in user experience design.
Strategic Vision: Ability to define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with business objectives.
Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects. Ability to inspire and motivate team members.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
Change Management: Ability to manage change effectively and navigate the complexities of developing AI applications.
A BSc in Engineering Computer Science or Data Science is required. A Masters or advanced degree is preferred.
7 years of experience in developing enterprise software solutions.
Any experience in managing and providing technical oversight to software development teams would be considered an advantage.
Strong working knowledge of Machine/ Deep Learning NLP/NLU Traditional AI Generative/ Agentic AI concepts architectures and best practices.
Experience with agile software development life cycle methodology and tools.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
This role requires flexibility in working hours to accommodate cross-functional collaboration and evolving project priorities. The successful candidate will drive business transformation through proactive thought-leadership innovative AI capabilities and the ability to communicate highly complex information in new and creative ways.
