Preventative Maintenance Technician Dutton Equipment Repair
Join the team at Dutton Equipment Repair a trusted leader in commercial kitchen equipment service since 1984. We are seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to support our growing customer base. In this hands-on role youll help keep kitchens running smoothly by delivering proactive maintenance performing light repairs and supporting our beverage program through installations and emergency service when needed.

What Youll Do:
Travel to customer locations to complete performance checks on commercial kitchen equipment including ice machines ovens fryers refrigeration and beverage systems.
Perform preventative maintenance minor repairs installations and removals.
Educate customers on proper equipment care and daily maintenance procedures.
Efficiently manage your schedule tools and parts inventory.
Identify equipment risks and communicate service needs to prevent costly breakdowns.
Attend manufacturer and technical training to grow your skill set and advance within the company.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record
Willingness to work on-call shifts and occasional overnight travel
Authorization to work in the U.S. (we do not sponsor employment visas)
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical training certifications or licenses (EPA CFESA etc.)
Experience in kitchen equipment repair HVAC refrigeration or a technical trade
Military experience in a mechanical or electrical field is a plus
Self-motivated with strong time management and customer service skills
