Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactiveDevOps Engineerto join our team. The ideal candidate will help build and maintain deployment systems automate infrastructure tasks and support the adoption of new technologies. Flexibility and adaptability are essential as this role involves working in a dynamic environment with constantly evolving goals requirements and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Provisioning operating and upgrading client cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Maintaining CI/CD pipelines for our applications
- Maintaining backup and disaster recovery systems
- Maintaining shared systems such as CI/CD logging and metrics
- Implementation of appropriate cyber-security measures
- Providing rotational on-call support
- Provide troubleshooting support to developers on operational issues
- Ensure best practice and consistency in operations across client products
- Responding to and troubleshooting performance and reliability issues
- Continuously improving the reliability and efficiency of our systems
- Cost management of our AWS infrastructure
Requirements:
- 3 years of Cloud Operation experience with a particular focus on Amazon Web Services
- Kubernetes (EKS) cluster administration experience
- Significant experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code technologies
- Experience with software deployment systems and continuous integration/continuous delivery
- Monitoring metrics collection and reporting using open source tools
- In-depth knowledge of basic large-scale Internet service architectures (DNS HTTP/S SSL Certificates Load Balancing)
- Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Good understanding of cloud-native software architectures and best practices
- Upper-intermediate level of English
Nice to have:
- Experience with NodeJS
- Experience with Postgres database administration
