. Procurement & Vendor Management
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of raw materials components and parts.
- Evaluate and onboard vendors based on quality cost capacity and delivery capabilities.
- Monitor supplier performance and initiate corrective actions as required.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors to achieve optimal terms.
2. Inventory & Material Management
- Monitor and control inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Implement Just-in-Time (JIT) and Lean inventory practices.
- Coordinate material planning with production purchase and warehouse teams.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics).
3. Logistics & Distribution
- Optimize inbound and outbound logistics for timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with logistics partners for freight warehousing and transportation services.
- Ensure compliance with customs excise and other regulatory requirements.
4. Production Planning & Coordination
- Align material supply plans with production schedules and forecasts.
- Collaborate with production quality and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
- Drive demand planning and capacity alignment across supply chain nodes.
5. Strategic Initiatives & Cost Optimization
- Identify and implement supply chain improvement projects for lead time reduction cost savings and efficiency gains.
- Apply analytics and data-driven decision-making to optimize supply chain performance.
- Evaluate supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
6. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead mentor and develop the SCM team to meet department objectives.
- Act as a liaison between suppliers internal departments and customers.
- Present KPIs reports and project updates to senior management.
