Job Description
- Responsible for the efficient functioning of the logistics department in the company
- Planning preparation organization of handling shipments to domestic and foreign customers as well as incoming deliveries while maintaining customer service standards and maintaining the assumed level of costs in accordance with the applicable legal regulations in the scope of the conducted activity
- Ensuring correct packaging and labeling of products for shipment (in accordance with applicable guidelines)
- Ongoing contact with the transport company
- Ongoing monitoring of timely deliveries to customers responding in the event of delays or loss of shipments
- Searching for and organizing transport for shipments of dimensions outside the agreed price list with the transport company
- Processing complaints and returns with the transport company regarding the transport service provided
- Organization of the formal side of planned transports ensuring that all data (information transport documents documents necessary for processing customs clearance and labels) needed to perform the service have been properly prepared and the transport company has received the agreed reports
- Proposing improvements and changes to the transport service
- Current offers in line with the needs of related departments
- Active participation in the ordering process and ensuring the availability of direct and indirect materials
- Planning and implementation of purchases inter-departmental transfers while maintaining appropriate inventory turnover rates
- Supply - receiving deliveries and verifying their compliance with the order
- Control and verification of stock levels to avoid shortages and excess stocks - conducting periodic and random inventories and reporting discrepancies
- Verification and analysis of the consumption of warehouse items preparation of reports and explanations regarding warehouse items for the purpose of proper reflection of warehouse stocks in the companys financial and accounting system
- Receiving and issuing goods products parts machines and devices in accordance with the issuing instructions and applicable guidelines
- Monitoring the expiration dates of goods and products and reporting them to the supervisor for disposal
- Ensuring that all assets are stored in the correct conditions and in the correct locations in the warehouse consistent with their locations in the ERP system
- Participation in training of new team members
- Supporting co-workers sharing good practices especially in the area of creating a safe workplace
- Participation in projects carried out in related areas
- supporting work on system improvements
Qualifications :
- At least 3 years experience in the area of warehouse management purchasing transport logistics
- At least 2 years experience in a logistics specialist position ideally.
- English Level (B1)
