Job Description
Upway is the leading platform selling refurbished e-bikes in Europe and the two years we have given a new life to over 20000 e-bikes and we are continuing to grow fast! Germany has now become our largest market and we are hiring an Operations intern to join the launch of the second German Upcenter in Dsseldorf. Our goal is to build the most efficient highest-quality and safest operation at scale so we can refurbish over 1 million German e-bikes in the next 10 years!
Tasks
- Unbox bikes and components
- Check in bikes and verify specifications
- Take high-quality photos of bikes in our photo studio
- Prepare bikes for shipping (e.g. packaging labeling)
- Train and support fellow team members on the floor
- Identify and improve parts of the operational workflow
- Collaborate with the ops team to support growth and new processes
- Keep the workspace clean organized and safe
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- A bias for action and fast hands-on execution
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- High energy and a drive to learn and improve every day
