Job Description
Are you an experienced and driven Supervisor looking for your next career move Ventia is inviting you to join their dynamic Transport team in Stapyltonconveniently located within commuting distance from both the Gold Coast and Brisbane. As part of the Queensland Transport South Coast (QTSC) team youll be supporting our Bribane Airport Contract in leading site-level civil construction activities across road and pavement projects. Reporting to the Superintendent you will play a key role in ensuring safety quality and performance standards are met while fostering a collaborative and high performing team culture.

About the Role
Asthe Supervisor you will ensure that key performance indicators are met with a strong focus on quality and enhancing sustainable outcomes.
- Lead and manage on-site construction teams to deliver high quality road infrastructure projects safely and efficiently
- Scope and help price work packages with Ventia Engineer
- Drive a strong safety health environment and quality culture
- Liaise with BAC representatives and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
- Monitor project performance resource utilisation and ensure compliance with BAC specifications
- Conduct toolbox talks manage IR/HR matters and support team development through training and mentoring
- Ensure all documentation from works ( ITPs dockets instructions etc.) are recorded correctly and loaded into our internal system
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in Civil Construction in a leadership/supervisory position
- Cert IV in Civil Construction (mandatory)
- Cert IV in Training and Assessing (desirable)
- Strong knowledge and experience with BAC work and specifications and traffic management
- Excellent planning communication and leadership skills
- Current drivers licence
- Personal drive and motivation to deliver excellence
