About the role:
The Workforce Optimisation Lead will lead the development and implementation of best-practice rostering systems and processes across the residential business.
In collaboration with the Rostering Officers and Residential Service Managers you will support in achieving KPIs pertaining to (but not limited to) workforce efficiency financial management and site workforce compliance.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing workforce plans to meet current and future staffing needs.
Analysing workforce data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
Collaborating with senior management to align workforce strategies with organisational goals.
Applying robust metrics and tools to drive financial performance and mitigate risk.
Identifying training needs and developing programs to enhance employee skills and competencies within the rostering officer cohort.
Utilising workforce analytics to provide insights and support decision-making.
Preparing regular reports on workforce metrics including turnover rates employee satisfaction and training outcomes & presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
Managing the relationships with UCQ digital and technology teams pertaining to the ongoing management and development of rostering platforms.
Role requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in health business or related field
Experience in managing complex rostering processes rules and systems.
General operations management experience including experience in aged care or similar organisations deploying a large workforce over a 24/7 roster
Advanced business analysis experience including quantitative analysis of large data sets generated by rostering processes
Experience of developing business cases.
Experience in structured process definition and improvement.
Demonstrated advanced interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
Capacity to assess coach and develop employees.
Demonstrated experience in effective stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications in structured process improvement methodologies for example Lean Six Sigma BPM (Desirable)
