Amazon Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Representative. The Account Representative will be responsible for recruiting and launching businesses within our many different categories. This person will be the primary point of contact for those companies throughout the entire sales process. They will be chartered with developing and managing a sales pipeline of high value strategic accounts while executing sales strategies to secure deals that will exceed output goals. Specifically this individual will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within the senior and C-level management and executive teams of prospective accounts along with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and present compelling Amazon solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements.
As an organization Amazons North American Seller Services is uniquely highly influential by coordinating across Amazon customers Amazon category teams and Amazon Sellers. We are a business development organization and drive growth for over 2MM Amazon Sellers through business intelligence cross-selling efforts and integrated Account Management. We are successful by focusing on growth targets for our Sellers businesses.
Key job responsibilities
We are seeking a talented Account Rep to increase recruitment and drive business development on our 3P sales team. In this role you will be responsible for prospecting and recruiting Brand Owners and Resellers with a focus on achieving sales performance metrics and sustainable growth. Specializing in a specific product category (Hardlines Softlines Consumables) and seller tiers (Enterprise or Mid-market) youll leverage our New Seller Guide and various tools to ensure seller success. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to maximize seller potential and drive revenue growth.

Our team specializes in recruitment and development of new-to-Amazon strategic resellers in the Hardlines categories. We are customer-obsessed (both seller and buyer) and focus on delivering best-in-class growth recommendations for our selling partners while highlighting unique selection at competitive prices for our end customers. We work hard have fun (dont take ourselves too seriously) and look for ways to constantly improve our SX and CX so we can continue to make history in powering the growth of 3P selection in Amazons store.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience with 5 years of sales experience in ecommerce Internet SaaS or a related industry.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment. Passionate about success and winning. Ability to work with legal product and internal business owners to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Always does what is right for the customer relentlessly customer-focused. Creative has initiative and can constructively advocate on behalf of sellers internally. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities. Sound business judgment proven ability to influence others and the ability to use data to drive decisions. 2 years of demonstrated communication and presentation skills. ecommerce high-tech retail technology SaaS or software industries experience is preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $62100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $132900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
