The data-driven network logistics department has the main task to manage a Europe-wide network of more than 200 logistics partners.
Are you ready to take over
As our new Senior Logistics Business Development Manager you will work proactively and make the next step forward with us. We are seeking a colleague who will work with a great team of dynamic innovative and motivated people in our headquarters in Berlin.
Own the negotiation execution and management of contracts with suppliers landlords and partners aligning them with organizational goals and objectives.
Lead the entire tendering process for new logistics solutions from preparing tender documents to evaluating proposals.
Oversee the logistics administration system ensuring efficient management of information and processes.
Contribute to achieving P&L targets by managing costs and providing detailed reporting.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including senior management and develop expertise in your areas of responsibility.
Manage cross-functional data-driven projects with the aim of exceeding expectations and driving business improvements.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing efficiency reducing costs and improving service quality within the logistics network.
./. in Logistics Supply Chain Business Economics or a related field and 6 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in parcel logistics automotive logistics finished vehicle logistics transportation real estate or network design is a plus.
We are looking for someone with a passion for moving projects forward taking full ownership and inspiring teams to drive results.
You must have the ability to manage multiple priorities meet tight deadlines and stay within budget.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights are required.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage external partners independently are a must.
Fluency in English is required and proficiency in other European languages is an advantage.
Industry knowledge and an established network within automotive logistics or the delivery space is a plus.
